Amount of heat (kcal) realsed when 50.0g of water at 100*c hits the skin and cools to a body..?

Because the steam is H2O in the gaseous phase, it undergoes a heat-releasing process of condensation. This must be added into your calculations. q(heat)=nH where n is the number of moles of H2O and H is the enthalpy of condensation for water. You then add this into your earlier calculation of q=mcT. giving you q(total)= (m x specific heat x change in temp) + (moles x enthalpy of condensation)
