Original Source of the Jesus, Horus, etc character?

I know that Jesus Christ's story was based on Horus' story. Son of God, 12 disciples, betrayal, crucifixion, and after 3 days, Resurrection. But I also know Horus' story is based on an even older tale. And I also know a similar story was told in india. Does anyone one from what culture the original story was told and what the name of the character was?
