HE MADE ME LIKE HIM AND NOW I CANT EVEN GET A TEX OR A PHONE CALL?

my home Girl hook me up with boy that been checking me out since January i give him my number i didn't realize how cute he was.. we started texin and we went on one date. we hang out at school sometimes.. but now dat i like him,, he dnt text me unless i text him.. and when i see him at school he act like we're good.. shows no interest in me. so i deleted his Number so i wouldn't be tempted to txt him first... the other day at school, he said ' YOU DON'T KNOW NOBODY ANYMORE?" so i guess he noticed i haven;t been texing him... i don't know what to do even after dat day he still didn't text me... i'm to shy 2 ask him wat's up? i need to know if he's feeling me or not so i can drop dis and move on..
